Birthdays
The best birthday in Tampa you haven't had yet. Come early to hang balloons, or let us decorate for a small fee with 48 hours notice.
Bachelorettes
Wine, music, and a wheel each. Handmade keepsakes instead of a bar tab, and a story the whole group tells for years.
Corporate Teams
Everyone starts as a beginner, so titles disappear and conversation comes easily. Team building that doesn't feel like it.
Friends & Family
Reunions, girls' days, anniversaries, or a Tuesday with your favorite people. Bring the group, we'll bring the clay.
Most Hands-On
Wheel Throwing
The full pottery experience, for your whole group.
Modeled on our Intro to Wheel Throwing class. Your group learns to center clay, pull walls, and shape simple forms at the wheel with Haley guiding every seat. Nobody needs experience, and nobody has to be good at it.
Paint & Sip
Our most relaxed night out.
Decorate ceramic pieces made right here at Floridian Ceramics, with drinks, friends, and good music. No wheel, no pressure, and every skill level fits. The go-to format for larger or more social groups.
- Pieces thrown in-house by Haley
- Underglazes, brushes, and aprons provided
- We glaze and fire everything after your event
- Food-safe, dishwasher-safe finished pieces
Hand-Building & Custom
Want something different? Tell us.
Hand-building skips the wheel for pinch, coil, and slab techniques, a calmer pace that works well for mixed-age groups. Or mix formats, pick a specific project, or set your own timing. Every private event is planned with you, not pulled off a shelf.
- Hand-building, wheel, Paint & Sip, or a mix
- Timing scheduled case by case, including off-hours
- Food handled case by case, just ask
- Quoted per event, no hidden fees

We fire, you pick up
Two kiln firings and hand glazing. Pieces are ready in about 1–2 weeks.
A real pottery studio, not a party room with a wheel in it.
Floridian Ceramics is a working studio in Tampa's Seminole Heights neighborhood. Kilns are firing, members are trimming, and shelves are full of pieces at every stage. When your group books a private event here, you're making pottery the same way we make our own functional work: thrown or built by hand, trimmed at leatherhard, bisque fired, glazed with food-safe glazes, and fired a second time.
That's why pieces from a two-hour party come back looking like they belong in a kitchen, and why your team or your friends will still be using them long after the night is over.
