Floridian Ceramics is a working pottery studio in the Seminole Heights neighborhood of Tampa. We make functional pieces and teach wheel throwing pottery classes in a relaxed, friendly space.
Our Intro To Wheel Throwing class is great for beginners to experience the wheel and have a fun outing!

Beginner wheel throwing
You’ll learn the basics of wheel-thrown pottery in this beginner pottery class, including centering clay, pulling walls, and shaping simple forms. During this 2-hour class, you will create and paint two bowls, which are then trimmed, glazed, and finished by the studio in the kiln. No prior experience required.
